Website Design Qualifications and Education
I am currently enrolled at the University of Nevada Las
Vegas in the Internet Design and Technology Program. This program is of
the caliber and quality that you would expect from a degree-granting university.
If you

logo on this page. To sucessfully pass each class there are strict rules
about attendance, quality of work and each class has a final project that
tests the skills of each student. You will see many web designers with
a certificate they have recieved from an online program. While many of
these programs are fine, I feel that the support and networking of a University
based program is not only better for me as a student, they are better
for you as a client as well. Why? Because I have many resources available
to me through my teachers and fellow students. As of now I have sucessfully
passed the following classes:

Search Engine Marketing
Creating Effective Websites
As you can see, so far my education had been well rounded in the basics
of HTML code, design and graphics. Search Engine Marketing and Effective
Websites (also known as website usability) are cutting edge classes geared
toward the webmaster who wants to offer their clients the ability to give
their site a decent ranking in search engines so their site can be found,
and make their site useable and easy to navigate for people that find
it.
Almost anyone can buy web design software, but to get a professional looking
site and navigate buying a domain and finding hosting, the best thing
to do is hire a professional. Also, with thousands of pages being added
to the world wide web it is necessary to hire a designer with current
search engine maketing skills. Many methods that were okay marketing techniques
a year ago will get you kicked out of the search engines today, a professional
web designer will be able to optomize each and every page so your site
can be a worry free and low maintence addition to your business.
